I hope you find these listings helpful. If you are like me, you need a little bit on information before making a buying decision. Here’s a description of Double Lock for you.

Can I purchase replacement screws that are 1 way for my faultless doubledead bolt lock?
Many double deadbolt locks use one way screws. Arrow brand screws are covered by a shutter Double Lock and are only accessible by turning the proper key in the lock. Schlage uses a pop in cap to make the screw slots useless. Also if the screws are one way, how do I remove the lock from the door later, some I believe use a special tool.Where can I purchase these oneway screws and how do you remove them later for installation in rentals?

I throw them away. My mother used to save them and wash them out. Ish-that’s just gross.

~*~ I would take the pins out of the hinges and remove the door from the hinge side. You then will have access to the screws on the face plate by the lock and can remove the entire lock that way. I would then have a locksmith come out and re-key the lock which will be far less expensive than replacing the whole thing. .

Go to hardware store and either buy a new lock for the door set and replace the old broken one. Or can just buy bolt that can be screwed to the action door and the retainer loop on the in-active door. Then just slide the bolt into loop and door is locked.New door locks come with instructions and are easily changed even you should be able do it. Make sure to get one that states privacy lock. Also you may want to get a keyed lock, so when you’re not in room and don’t want anyone else in, then keyed entry lock be way to go. Also, make sure that the lock is 2 3/8 backset. This holds true for either type of lock.

Raging Judge Magnum???? Taurus makes several versions of the Raging Bull, several versions of the Judge, and lots of Magnums. Some have the double lockup cylinder, some do not. Taurus does not make a “raging judge magnum”The Raging Bull I had, did have the system. It is a cylinder that locks into the recoil shield of the frame (that part of the frame at the rear of the cylinder), like all cylinders on revolvers do. Additionally, there is another lock at the front of the frame (just in front of the face of the cylinder). On the heavy magnums, like my .454 Casull Magnum, this system serves to strengthen the revolver. The Judge series of revolvers does not have the double lockup cylinder. The .41 and .44 magnums do have the system, the .357 magnum does not.

My mother had one. It was just a lot of trouble to use, something else bulky to store. I recommend the zip locks.

just twist the mote back and forth slowly like a key until you hear a click, and repeat if you have more levers to move.

You are not the only one with that problem. There are some threads about it at http://www.lgcommunity.com/forums/aff/13/aft/5234/afv/topic/afpg/3.aspxMake sure you read all.

The med cart where I work has a lock on the outside that unlocks all the drawers and then a separate lock on the narcotics which I feel is definitely a rule that needs to remain in place. I never give the med key out to anyone when I am in charge of it on my shift, that is just asking for trouble.

Eh… it depends. I doubt I would be too concerned. You’ll probably get someone who will complain. Question is, are you prepared to handle the one or two people who will creep out, throw a fit, and demand their own room?I thought about the danger thing. Well, the other person could stab you in your bed while you sleep if they were psychotic. As for theft, I would keep my wallet on me AT ALL TIMES.

Try one of these:

If they can double lock, generally the key will have a point on the back side of the key. You push that point into a small hole on the side of the handcuff near the lock. To unlock it you will have to turn the key both directions.

little man December 14, 2010 at 4:10 pm

believe it or not! you can get just about any nut bolt screw at a local ace hardware. Those allen head screws are plain standard screws.Ace even has stainless ones that look like chrome.Even if you waste a buck or two trying to get the right one,its better then beating your brains out with jackson to ship you the right one.Good luck
